Wow; this is from five years ago, but I don't care.
Simply fantastic! I am a speedskater, but have been off training for ten months due to going to university out of town, but this picture warms my skating soul.
It's gorgeous just as a photograph; you've captured the essence of the curves perfectly, and the purity of the ice against the stark and crossing lines of the ceiling structure.
But even more than that...
When I look at it, I feel the ice, I can hear the blades against it, the fervor of the crowd, and the panting of the skaters... I just want to throw my skates and spandex on (as creepy as that sounds).
