It's finally august, that means that it's the final stretch before being able to go back to school in September. I know I shouldn't be wishing for summer to end, and I do like spending time with my family, but I really miss all my friends, and classes, and life that I have in Toronto. Only 2 more weeks of work as well, which is fantastic... i just want it to be over! haha! :)
Going to Paris until the weekend, so I won't be around to comment on all of your fantastic work!

Cheers! :)
Hey... to... whomever heh!

I'm going to be going to Denmark on vacation tomorrow, so I will not be around during the next week or so.

Promptly upon my arrival shall all of the new devs be caught up with, and hopefully I'll have taken a single decent shot or two to share with you.

Cheers!
I finally arrived back in Germany from having been away in China for the first part of the summer.

Chinese photos will begin to appear, in pretty much chronological order in which they were taken. These will be followed by some shots from Paris heh.

Enjoy, as I've enjoyed catching up on everyone's work!

Cheers
I have a bunch of old photos I thought I'd put up before heading back to University. I always feel bad putting up a ton of stuff at once, but oh well.

If anyone would like to purchase for me the In the Mood for Love Criterion Collection DVD found on amazon, let me know. I will love you forever.

Cheers
I've had a look at a bunch of old photos and have decided to upload some of them after messing around with 'em :) Oh well

MERRY CHRISTMAS TO ALL!!!!!!!
Well I survived first semester, marginally I believe, and am excited to be home and to see everyone...

I plan on going to Amsterdam and Paris this break, so we'll see how that pans out.

I hope to be taking some pictures again :)

Have also started writing a script...

ya :D
Work.

Work.

Sleep.

Work.

Work.

I love the summer. Despite the hectic work schedule, it's much more relaxed than school time.

University starts soon as well! Toronto, here I come!!!
I JUST GOT INTO NEW YORK UNIVERSITY, TISCH SCHOOL OF THE ARTS FOR DRAMA!!!!

Pardon the caps.

I'm finishing off my School of the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston Application now... ack.. things are going too well!!!
Heading off to Ireland tomorrow morning at 5:30 a.m. Can't wait. Although it should be raining the whole time I hope to get some good pictures.

I'll catch up with everyone when I'm back!

:D
I just got back from Amsterdam. I absolutely loved the trip! It was so fun photography-wise. I just took fun photos, and will be posting them all. I was trying to hard to create artistic photos, when I should really just photograph what inspires me. So the next series will seem rather random, but everything means something :)
It's Semester Exams! Wish me luck!!!!

Ack!
Went to a Lars Frederiksen and the Bastards concert last night! It was great. I had a lot of fun! No photo ops, because I couldnt' bring my camera due to certain reasons, but it was still a great concert! :)
Hey everyone. Well... I was back for maybe.... 1 week and now I'm going away to Calgary for 2 weeks! God I cannot wait! We leave tomorrow at I think... 7 pm from Dusseldorf or Frankfurt. We have to drive there... then wait there 2 hours, then we leave, arrive in Toronto... stay there the night, then early morning we leave to get to Calgary for Wednesday afternoon.

My Uncle is getting married.... So I get to be an usher... which should be alright I guess. I just can't wait for the picture opportunities hehe and to see everyone in Canada. And to be able to sit in a Silvercity and watch Spiderman 2 without Dutch subtitles ;)

So I hope you all have a great two weeks! Keep submitting all of your amazing work. Thanks for keeping up with mine.

And I'll chat with you all when I get back!

Bye!
I've been trying out some night shots... but when I get them back on the computer the noise is unbearable... any tips on decreasing the noise on low light situations?
So one of my best friends is moving away this summer. She's leaving Germany to go back to Trenton, Ontario. It's heartbreaking. That's what sucks about your parents being in the military, you move to these great places and meet the most fantastic people, and then in a couple of years, they're moving, or you're moving. I can't even begin to think of how much I am going to miss her. Nothing will be the same. I hope to go back to Toronto this Christmas, though, and maybe I'll see her there...

Myriam! I'll Miss You!!!  www.deviantart.com/deviation/3…

Well I've been watching movies like crazy! And working at the video store like crazy! It's been awesome! I'm proud of myself because I think I'm doing a good job there. I'm also having fun suggesting people away from the mainstream crap and trying to get more people exposed to some of the lesser known little goodies.

I watched Lost in Translation again. It's so beautiful. I love it. I was trying to fall asleep, and it's kind of slow, so I thought it'd be nice to fall asleep to it, but I hadn't watched it in a while. So I ended up staying up watching the whole thing, then watching it again! haha.... yeah I'm a dork.

I tried taking pictures again. I was feeling inspired... but they all turned out mediocre... Going to start doing it regularly again, and playing around again, and reading again, so as to further my lacking skill lol :)

Thanks to everyone who commented on my recent stuff... and sorry to everyone that I haven't commented on because I was away for, what, 9 weeks? But I'm back and going through everything! I'm at "C" on my watch list now! :D
I'm leaving to go to Scotland tomorrow. This is my last time on the comp! I hope to take some fun pics, providing it doesn't rain every second we're there (I'm praying for good weather), and hope to see all your guys's lovely deviations when I get back!

And off I go...
Ok, so I was out taking photos yesterday (it started raining after like 10 minutes) and I had a bit of a problem. When I focused on say.. the ground.. or a tree.. or something like that, but there was sky in the photo, the sky would be completely white and annoying... you know what I mean? So I would focus on the sky, to get it nice and perty, but then the bottom section, where the land, or lake or w/e would be was completely dark. This has happened for a while, and I've managed to get by with it, but what wondering.. if anyone could give me some advice with this!

Thank you!
Well! I went to Maastricht yesterday with my friends! It was awesome! We took the train from Sittard, and ended up there around 5! We looked around, had some fun, then went to a little cozy Italian place for dinner (Wonderful food)! We then went to a cool jazz cafe called "Edd's" where there was live Jazz at around 10. We had fun there, then on the way home, as we were walking across the bridge, and it was so beautiful, I just had to take some pics! I picked the three best (Because my night photography is a work in progress) and decided to make them into a series! Can't wait to get 'em up and get some feedback!

I'm going to Scotland on Sunday!!!!! I can't wait! I'm going to bring our 2 memory cards, and the laptop to d/l the pics onto! I'm gonna take so many pictures! lol! Then there's bound to be at least one or two good ones! lol!

Wish me luck! I'm going to loch ness! Who knows what might happen?

Well, I think I am back for good! I'm loving the photography! lol! I love seeing all the amazingly talented people on this site, that I can't believe I let myself slip away! Too bad I haven't really taken anything for a while, so I'm left to scrape through the archives selecting some that I overlooked, or thought were "alright" the first time around!

Thanks a lot you guys for a very nice welcome back! I feel right back at home! There's too many people to say hi to!
